Version 1, published 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Twilltac Ltd ("Twilltac", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Twilltac platform: twilltac.com and the Twilltac apps on twilltac.app (Account, Workspace, Onboarding, Partners, Enterprise and Console).
It should be read alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar: they let a website keep small pieces of information in your browser. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until it is cleared.
In this policy we call all of these "cookies" unless the difference matters.
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. Nothing optional runs until you click Accept. If you click Reject all, only the strictly necessary cookies described below are used.
Your choice applies across the Twilltac platform, so you will not be asked again on each app. We ask again when this policy changes in a way that affects your choice, and after 12 months.
You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the app. If you withdraw consent, we stop optional cookies straight away and delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach.
These make the platform work. They let you sign in and stay signed in securely, remember your cookie choice, and keep the app usable as you move around it. Because the platform cannot work without them, they do not need your consent and cannot be turned off.
We also keep a few small pieces of information in your browser's local and session storage. They are only read by the Twilltac app in your browser and are not sent to us. All of them start with tt_. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until it is no longer needed or you clear it.
We only use these if you click Accept. They help us understand how the platform is used, so we can improve it and fix problems faster.
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure how people use the platform: which pages are visited, how people move between them and which features are used. We use it in Google's consent mode with advertising features turned off, so the data is not used for advertising or personalisation.
Google may process this data outside the UK. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On the Account, Workspace, Onboarding, Partners and Enterprise apps, we record how the page responds as you use it: clicks, scrolling, page changes and what appears on screen. We use these recordings to reproduce and fix problems and to understand where the platform is hard to use.
Session recording does not set cookies. It uses two session storage entries, tt-session-recording and tt-session-recording-chunks, so a recording can carry on across page loads in the same tab and hold parts of it until they are sent to us. Both are cleared when you close the tab.
Some features load content from third parties. They do not place cookies on Twilltac's domains, but your browser does connect to them, so they receive your IP address and basic technical information about your browser.
These services are run by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
When something goes wrong in the app, we send a technical report of the error to our own servers so we can fix it. This is part of running the service securely and reliably and does not use cookies.
As well as the choice in our cookie banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the platform.
We update this policy when we change the cookies we use. Each version is numbered and dated at the top of this page, and earlier versions remain available. If a change affects the choice you made, we will ask you again.
If you have questions about this policy or how we use cookies, contact Twilltac Ltd using the details in our privacy policy.
